Welcome to CART's guide to Digital Responsibility and Safety. This site is dedicated to teaching you both the history of the Internet and how to navigate it. The Internet is a tool that has single handedly connected most of the world, and the story of how it got to that point is helpful for understanding the current Internet culture. However, like any tool, it also has the danger of being used to harm others, by allowing some to bully others with little chance of being found out, to more nefarious uses such as draining every penny from your bank account. But the Internet can also be used to help your image and connect with others. That, and more, is what we are teaching people on this site.
